What should I wear for PCC?
Because the Polynesian Cultural Center is a family oriented attraction, we ask our guests to dress appropriately. Shoes and shirts are required at all times. Bathing suits are not allowed. Clothing, tattoos and all forms of wear-able art with offensive designs are strictly prohibited.

Generally, only the lower body was covered with loincloths for men and wrapped skirts of tapa for women. Throughout Polynesia, skirts made of various fibers and leaves were worn by both men and women. In Western Polynesia, fine mats (toga in Samoa) were made of pandanus leaves and were used to cover the lower body.

All students are expected to dress modestly, in conservative fashions, and with a level of propriety that encourages purity. It is considered immodest to wear clothing that is tight-fitting. Men and women should be distinctive in their appearance.
